Time, space and existence are at the core of all my work. My photography stands at the crossroad of documentary and still life. Whether it is in the ephemeral world of the home or along an historic trail in nature, these are images of personal structures. They offer an opening for a subtle moment of reflection on grieve, loss and consolation.
When you grow older time seems to go slower. My photo’s are not pictures of a decisive moment, more images of time passing by. Accordingly these images articulate a subjective insight in the transience of the human condition.
