Also interested in exploring how the past and present converge and co-exist, Ken Rosenthal’s dreamy black and white series, “Seen and Not Seen,” emerged from a fascination with that peculiar poignancy that characterizes old family photographs. He writes, “While paging through albums of family photographs, I was struck by the realization that many of the pictures that were bringing back strong memories occurred before I was born, or at times or places I was not present. These memories were so vivid, yet were indeed false memories. Fascinated with how many of our recollections can be attributed to a photograph, dream or story as opposed to an actual experience.”
It’s our intention to make a good web page for each of the thousand shows that we’ve had but we couldn’t find everybody.
If you are this photographer or know how to contact them, please get in touch.
